1 pound down

It's 8:27 am and I woke up this morning feeling tired but ready to start a "new" day. First thing I did was weigh myself. I now weigh 162.8 with a BMI of 26. I lost a pound while sleeping...awesome. 1 pound to go until next friday :) I can do it!!

I'm totally realizing how hard it is to eat right. Yesterday here we're my meals:
Breakfast: Greenie Goodness; 1 serving
Snack:  guacamole and chips
Lunch: fries and a chicken philly sub and apple juice
Dinner: 1 serving of mac and cheese and a washington apple martini

Hopefully tomorrow I'll be better about what I put into my body.

It's 8:14pm

So today the world was supposed to end. It's December 21, 2012. I'm not exactly sure what inspired me to lose weight today but I decided today is the day I no longer want to be fat. A little under two years ago I gave birth to my only son Xavier and since that time it has been a roller coaster of weight loss and weight gain. I decided to make a commitment to myself into my family to lose weight not only to lose weight but to keep the weight off. Before I was pregnant my weight was 135. Since I've had Xavier my lowest weight has been 145. Today I weigh 163.8, with a BMI of 26.3...basically I'm unhealthy...with the holidays and new year approaching, I really need to make an effort to get healthy and lose the weight. So no more words. Here ate my measurements as of today.
Height 5'6
Weight 163
Bust 40
Waist 31
Hips 41
Hip bone to hip bone 10
* proportionately overweight :)


Hopefully by the time this is over, I will have some respectable measurements.
This blog's purpose is to:
1) track my weight and progress
2) track my eating habits and moods
3) track exercises that work and those that don't.

Hopefully its an honest look at how I was able to lose 30 pounds in 6 months.
